Build Tagger-101.
The first DIYLaserTag release focuses on one beginner-friendly tagger build: Tagger-101. Use this site to flash the DIYLaserTag firmware, find wiring diagrams, and read up on the basics before finishing your tagger.
The browser flasher is set up for Tagger-101 right now. More builds will be added when
their wiring and firmware packages are ready.
Release Notes
- Build: Tagger-101 is the only public launch build.
- Package: the website ships firmware images, manifests, schematics, and notices, not firmware source code.
- Build order: flash the bare board first, then wire the tagger circuits.
- Signal standard: the launch build uses 56 kHz IR, ESP-IDF RMT timing, repeated broadcasts, receiver-side deduplication, and ESP-NOW messaging.
The Schematics page shows the current Tagger-101 wiring. The flasher page contains the ESP32 firmware packages for the DIYLaserTag launch build.
