These terms cover the current DIYLaserTag public website: wiring diagrams, safety notes, a browser flasher, and closed-source firmware images for the listed Tagger-101 board targets.
Allowed Small-Scale Use
The public flash set is free for home builds, evaluation, learning, and commercial use by companies or organizations with no more than USD $100,000.00 in annual gross sales.
Builder Responsibility
Builders are responsible for choosing the exact board image, checking every wire, using safe power and optical parts, and following local rules before using a finished tagger.
No Warranty
The materials are provided as-is, without warranty. DIYLaserTag does not certify the firmware, schematics, assembled builds, kits, events, venues, or derivative products.
Boundaries
- Flash only the firmware image that matches the board selected in the Tagger-101 flasher.
- Do not redistribute, mirror, or host DIYLaserTag firmware images, firmware manifests, or browser flash packages from any location other than diylasertag.com unless DIYLaserTag has given written permission.
- Companies or organizations with more than USD $100,000.00 in annual gross sales must reach a licensing agreement with DIYLaserTag before using DIYLaserTag firmware images or public flash packages commercially.
- Do not sell, repackage, or represent DIYLaserTag firmware, schematics, website materials, or public flash packages as an endorsed product without written permission.
- Do not use DIYLaserTag materials for weapon, self-defense, realistic firearm replica, unsafe public-space, or unsupervised minor use.
- Third-party names are used only for compatibility and protocol reference; no endorsement is implied.
